Solid aluminum profiles and hollow aluminum profiles

The processing technology and extrusion method of hollow aluminum profiles and solid aluminum profiles are basically the same, the difference lies in the molds used.

For the mold of solid aluminum profile, only need to process the forming hole on the mold, and then it can be extruded by extrusion machine. For hollow aluminum profiles, the mold is composed of an upper mold and a lower mold. The lower mold is processed into the shape of the aluminum profile, and the upper mold is processed into a mold core in the shape of the hollow part, and then the upper mold core is fixed on the lower mold.
