Common sense and precautions for door and window installation
Door and window installation is the first process after the renovation is removed, and it is also a crucial process related to the overall decoration quality of the house. The quality of door and window installation will directly affect the flexibility, service life, and quality of use of doors and windows in the later stage.
1. Before installation, the installer should carefully check the doors and windows according to the door and window table and conduct an installation briefing to avoid the installation of windows of similar sizes in the wrong position. The windows with a difference of one or two centimeters in the openings will be different.
2. Before installation, measure the opening size and divide the positioning center line. If the opening is unqualified (for example, the opening is not straight, the inclination is large, etc.), it is necessary to point it out in time and discuss the treatment plan.
3. During the installation process, the doors and windows should be transported with firm bundling, soft cushions, orderly stacking, and gentle handling, and stumbling, scratching and other phenomena should be resolutely prevented. (In addition to protecting the finished windows, if the owner only replaces the windows and the house has been decorated, it is necessary to protect the ground, floor, wall, escalator, and other places of the owner's house, and use carpets, paper shells, bubble film, and other items to avoid scratching the interior decoration.)
4. Evenly place the adjustment wedges, adjust the horizontal and vertical degrees of the doors and windows, and control the tolerance within 1.5mm/m.
5. The expansion screws or fixed iron sheets must be installed 150mm from the inner corners of the four corners of the frame.
6. The expansion screws or fixed iron sheets in the frame should be spaced no more than 350mm apart and evenly placed.
7. The gap between the window frame and the opening should be filled with foam glue.
8. After the foam glue is cured, remove the adjustment wedges, and the hollows of the wedges need to be filled with foam glue.
9. After the foam glue is cured, evenly apply outdoor and indoor building sealants.
10. Before installation, cover the bedding, furniture, etc. with cloth in advance, and move the items near the window to avoid knocking them down or making it difficult to clean the dust on the items. (If the heavy objects cannot be moved, you can also ask the master to help move them during installation)
