The doors and windows are all closed, why is there so much dust?

news-1-1

In daily life, we often find that the doors and windows are closed tightly, but why is there still so much dust in the house? These dusts can penetrate everywhere, where do they come from?

Possible sources of dust:

1. People may bring some dust into the house when they return home at night after a day of activities outside;

2. When using bed sheets, quilt covers, and other items, when making the bed or folding the quilt, some of the fibers of the bedding will fall off and gather with the dust;

3. When TVs, computers, and other home appliances are turned on, static electricity will be generated, which will absorb the dust on the desktop and promote airflow and dust diffusion;

4. The indoor unit filter of the air conditioner will also accumulate dust. If it is not cleaned in time, the dust will be blown into the indoor air;

5. Kitchen fumes, smoking, etc. will also produce certain dust particles;

6. If the doors and windows are not closed tightly, a large amount of outdoor dust will also enter the room.

Among them, the sixth point has a very large impact. Too much dust at home is mostly related to the sealing performance of doors and windows. The main reason for frequent dust in the house is poor sealing of doors and windows: inferior sealing strips age, break, crack, fall off, etc., affecting the sealing; doors and windows are deformed, window sashes sag and gaps appear, or hardware accessories are not firm and easy to loosen and cannot be closed securely.
